We have a bookstore and library located in the lobby of our building. Feel
free to come in and borrow from our wide selection of books and
videos. We have materials for all ages. The library is open between
services on Sunday mornings, and at various hours during the week

An
Illustrated look at Jesus in the book of Genesis. Deborah Obeid
and Larry Edison have collaborated together to come up with this
book designed to help readers of all ages understand the manner
in which Jesus is both the theme and the Promise of Genesis.
Discovery
Counseling at Covenant Life
We
are excited to offer our church and community a new ministry. There
are many who need solid Christian counseling; even sometimes just
an objective listening ear.
Dennis
Gowin works out of our church building one day a week, and is even
open now for appointments.
Dennis
is a graduate of Reformed Seminary with an MA in counseling. He
is a Florida Registered Mental Health Intern who, after spending
25 years as a Litigation attorney, has been called by the
Lord into the counseling ministry. At the present time, fees are $50
per session, and we are making every attempt to keep fees at this
low level. We want this to be a ministry available to all. For those
who would otherwise be unable to afford the counseling, we
have possible options for subsidizing the fee (as funds allow).
Dennis
writes, "The job of a counselor is to help you discover the
truth about yourself, the issues which have caused the pain
or helplessness, and, by God's grace and word, begin the process
of
working
toward solutions . . solutions which will bring freedom. The counseling
process is somewhat like a scavenger hunt, where we help you
search out issues from your past and help you understand how
these issues affect you and shape you in the present. In this way, there
is hope for the future. These issues can be rooted out and dealt
with by implementing new patterns of thinking and new ways
of responding."
