Life is a journey filled with turns and dips, mountains and valleys, flat plains and jungles. At any time, a traveler might be found running, climbing, crawling, or even flat on his face in exhaustion. With so many paths to decide between, a traveler might easily find himself lost and in the dark...alone.
No student was ever meant to travel alone. Instead, we are on the path together, adults and students alike, who together are listening to the voice of Jesus. As we journey, we spur each other on to listen carefully and follow closely to Jesus, the One who has gone before us and who has made a clear path home.
No matter what the program or event, our intention here at Covenant Life is to set students on a path that leads them closer, day by day, to God. As they learn about the love of the Father who sent his Son to redeem us, the finished work of Christ on our behalf, and the ongoing life with God through the Holy Spirit, my prayer is that we all grow in our love for God and for one another.
