How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Isaiah 52:7
missions
What is the mission of the church? One of our vital ministries is to reach people of all ages, races, and nationalities with the good news of Jesus Christ here and abroad. Our Missions Committee meets monthly to review missions opportunities and to plan financial support for men and women who have been faithfully serving for many years as well as those who are new to the mission field.
The Missions Committee posts news about specific missionaries in the bulletin, in our monthly newsletter, LifeLines, and maintains a large informational poster board. Once a year, the Committee hosts a long weekend devoted entirely to missions and to our own missionaries.
We encourage members to financially support our missions efforts and to consider joining one of the several short-term missions teams that our church has sponsored each year, traveling to such countries as Peru, Guatemala and France.
