We are worshipers.
Our first priority is to worship God with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength. We keep this single-minded focus on God because He is the reason we exist. When it comes to weekly worship services, style is secondary. Worship is primary. To learn more about our weekend services, click here.
We are people of prayer.
Prayer is the means for keeping our lives in tune with the will of the Lord. We approach all our decisions in that spirit.
We are family.
We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, but we all need a little guidance and a lot of practice. At Covenant Life, we prioritize resources and programs with this purpose in mind--to learn what it means to become family to each other.
We are servants.
Covenant Life is a church where you can contribute your talent, ideas, resources, or influence to make a real difference, or if you are in need, to find a place of support.
We are learners.
We believe in setting Biblical and theological standards, while not demanding unthinking conformity to traditions. We provide in-depth Biblical teaching through every means possible, including Sunday services, Christian education, Home Groups, Bible Studies, seminars, and mentoring.
We are missionaries.
We are called to share with others, through words and deeds, the good news that Jesus came and reconciled us with the Father. Every Christian is called to be a missionary in some respects, but some of us are called to bring that message to the far corners of the globe. Covenant Life strongly supports missions both, local and remote, as a church and as individuals.
We are a team.
We seek to build strong teams of friendship and service. Home groups are a big part of achieving this goal. Our full-time staff is another team, and our pastors, elders and deacons likewise team up to serve the church. Other teams include music, service-oriented teams, and support teams for various ministries. We place a high value on encouraging everyone to be involved, to bring ideas to the table, and to bring gifts to bear wherever you see a need.
