Each week, hundreds of people meet in groups all around the Sarasota area to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh and live. We call these Small Groups. New groups start in January, June and September. This is a fresh perspective on God’s love; the story of Jesus and his ministry as seen through the eyes of Mary Magdalene, revealing his tremendous love for us in a new meaningful way. Come and journey with Magdalene and other women whose lives he touched and go deeper into God’s word and discover hope for our lives.

Knowing God’s Word (for women)

Does the thought of Bible study make you nervous? Learn simple, practical tools for studying the Bible. This is perfect for women who are new to studying the Bible. We will be using Knowing God's Word: Women of Faith Study Guide Series by Thomas Nelson as our guide.

Marriage Built to Last (for couples)

Are you struggling in your marriage? Do you want to have a closer union with your spouse? Learn how to communicate, break down walls, restore sex and intimacy. Whether you’re newly married, remarried, or wanting to improve your relationship, this study will provide Biblical and practical teaching to give you tools to live intentionally and love Biblically. Follow-up Biblical marriage counseling will be available on Saturday mornings and other times by appointment.

WEDNESDAY - June 5th

Reading the Bible for Life (open to all)

6:30 - 8:00 PM

 Do you read the Bible regularly, or is it just too hard to find the time? Do you know how to read, study, and interpret the Bible well, or do you find it difficult to fit the pieces together into a grand narrative? A psalm is different from Paul's letters. Revelation is different from Leviticus. A prophecy cannot be read the same way as a parable. Over the course of 9 weeks, this group will begin to learn how better to understand the Bible by reading its parts the way the authors intended. We will follow the curriculum Read the Bible for Life by George Guthrie. The study will require an additional time commitment of about 15 minutes a day to complete the corresponding workbook chapters. All age groups are welcome, so please join us, and together we will learn to Read the Bible for Life.

Following Christ as a Family (for families)

6:00 - 7:30 PM

Teaching your kids about Jesus is important. You get that. But how? Maybe it seems really intimidating. Or maybe you think you don't know enough. But your kids need you to teach them about Jesus. Each Wednesday we will meet up at a different ice cream shop or home to eat ice cream, to laugh and to explore ways to follow Christ as a family. The goal: to equip you, as parents, in the great adventure of discipling your kids. This group is designed for families with preschool and younger elementary age children (could we really have a group involving ice cream and tell you not to bring your kids?). A schedule of meeting places will be given out before our first meeting, but all will be in the South Sarasota area.

THURSDAY - June 6th

Becoming a Woman of Grace (for women)

6:30 - 8:00 PM

God's grace is amazing, sometimes described as all sufficient, enough, ample and abundant.

It sets us free and then helps us to love, serve and grow. Join us as we dig into the scriptures

to seek to understand, experience and reflect God's grace. Our study guide will require homework. We will be using Becoming a Woman of Grace by Cynthia Heald as our guide.
