Summer Bible Studies

"Fighting Isolation, Developing Community: A Woman's Salvation"

Tuesday Evenings with Dave Sturkey @ Church (Room 204)

June 24th - July 15th  7-8:30pm

Dave Sturkey, pastor of Cornerstone Church of Lakewood Ranch, PCA ,(our sister church), will be teaching this Bible study. We will investigate the causes and challenges of isolation among women, and look at the habits and skills that biblical characters used to fight it and to build Christian community.  Small group discussion involved.

 

Thursday Evenings with Connie Thompson @ Deb Obeid's home

June 26th - July 31st  7-9pm

We will have a related time, discussing six different passages of Scripture.  we will be looking at Peaceful sleep, Wisdom, Gentle Words, New Lives, Our Protection and Loving Others.  We hope to see you there!  The Bible study is limited to 15 people, so please call Beth at 926-4777 to sign up.

January '09: Mentoring Moms - A six week nuturing program of older women mentoring younger women based on Titus 2:3-5. Call Sherry Turnbull or Ann Opdycke.

M& M (Mentoring Moms) Alumnae - For all women who previously participated in Mentoring Moms. Meets last Tuesday of the month   for connecting, nurturing and Bible study.
