What is so Amazing
about Grace?
Facilitated by
Beth Saxsma
The
word "grace" is used so much we may not realize
its POWER. What happens when the church or individuals embrace
this gift at the heart level? Phil Yancey's DVD series uses
true-life experiences which will rock our preconceptions of
grace. Join us for discussion of why grace is more amazing
than we've ever dreamed in our own lives and relationships.
Through Aug. 3rd
Potpourri of
Practical Theology
Johathan Schneider,
Tom Schneider, John Gary, Rick Drass
There are many things a believer needs to know in order to
grow in their faith. This class offers a little bit
of everything. This week Jonathan Schneider continues his
two week series on evangelism in room 204. Last week
he taught from the Bible that witnessing is a WIN/WIN proposition.
Whether people reject you, accept Christ, or a seed is planted
"you win." This Sunday he will focus on a variety
of ways you can approach people in your area of influence
with the Gospel, and how you can share your faith with confidence.
Less is More
Wes Burquest
A
new and different set of Rob Bell's Nooma videos deliver messages
filled with artistry and an undeniable punch. These brief,
12-minute DVDs were originally conceived as half-hour talks.
But in this case, less is definitely more. Discussion time
follows the topical and exciting presentation on life issues
we all face.
